KellyMitchell GroupOur client is seeking a Senior Associate - LIS Tool Developer to join their team This position is located in New York, New York.
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Excel-based scenario testing tools to validate product behavior throughout the policy lifecycle
Support configuration and testing of life insurance products in the new policy administration system
Ensure testing tools accurately reflect product mechanics, cash values, charges, and tax treatment
Partner closely with Automation Development and SCRUM teams to integrate automation features and improve testing efficiency
Analyze and reconcile differences between legacy and modern system results
Monitor tool accuracy, performance, and usability, recommending enhancements as needed
Document testing logic, assumptions, and findings, and clearly communicate results to technical and business stakeholders
Extensive knowledge of life insurance products, including product components, cash flows, and tax implications
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and complex worksheets
General understanding of IRC Sections 7702 and 7702A and their impact on product behavior
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain work, report progress, and summarize discussions with SCRUM and development teams
Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment
Working knowledge of QA and testing practices, including test scenario design and defect analysis
Familiarity with policy administration systems or large-scale core system modernization initiatives

401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $50.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
