Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of pertinent work experience.
- Familiarity with embedded security and encryption.
- Knowledge of safety-critical software development standards such as DO-178 B or above.
- Experience with complex systems focused on mission computing, memory systems, and displays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment.
- Proficiency in Bash/Python, Intel x86/ARM/FPGA/SoC, GPP, GPU, Embedded System Design, Release Engineering.
- Understanding of Change and Configuration Management, Debug/Trace Analysis, and Real-time Operating Systems like VxWorks, LynxOS, or Integrity.
- Capability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of Network storage systems and familiarity with Gigabit Ethernet or InfiniBand.
- Knowledge of authentication schemes such as Radius and LDAP.
- Ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance.
- Experience interacting with software development throughout design cycles, including major design and architecture reviews.
- Experience with Hardware and Software integration and testing.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and Test automation using Python or similar languages.
- 3 years of embedded development experience, including APIs, BSPs, Drivers, and OpenGL.
- 3 years of C++ systems development experience with a grasp of Software/Hardware co-design and distributed systems.
- 3 years of experience with avionics lifecycle execution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic team on the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded computing systems for F-15 programs.
- Develop and assess interfaces between hardware and software as well as performance requirements.
- Execute software development predominantly in C/C++ using existing tools.
- Utilize testing frameworks in Python to ensure software reliability.
- Contribute to L3Harris mission systems integration architecture.
- Support customer deployments and program meetings, potentially requiring travel to St. Louis, MO for leadership roles.
- Engage in software coverage tool development to enhance system capabilities.
