Job Title: Senior Backend/Full Stack Engineer – Python & React (Temporal Framework)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States/Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Backend (Temporal & Python)

Design, implement, and maintain durable, fault-tolerant workflows using the Temporal framework in Python.

Architect scalable backend services and microservices to support complex business logic.

Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL (relational data integrity) and MongoDB (document-based storage).

Frontend (React JS)

Develop responsive, maintainable, and user-friendly web interfaces using React JS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Implement efficient state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand).

Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and handle asynchronous data fetching.

General Engineering

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solutions.

Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability.

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management and cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years in full-stack software development.

Python Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience building backend services.

Temporal Framework: Demonstrated expertise in designing and running applications using Temporal.

Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in React JS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Database Expertise: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL (query optimization, schema design) and MongoDB (modeling, indexing).

Tools: Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
