Senior Batch Developer (Linux/SQL)

Requirements

Must have:

- Over 6 years of experience in application/software development, programming, and testing with C, Oracle, SQL, and version control in a Linux environment (prior healthcare systems experience preferred but not mandatory) - Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for designing, creating, and testing programs - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, support staff, and clients - Capability to work independently as well as lead a team - Preferred knowledge of XML and EDI healthcare transactions

Responsibilities:

- Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex programs - Analyze, design, and draft specifications and requirements for program development - Assess existing systems and programs; assist project managers in task assignments and closely collaborate with the team - Act as a liaison with clients and management, offering technical consulting on complex programming projects, validating program requirements, and troubleshooting issues - Develop test plans and engage in QA activities, such as coding reviews - Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers when necessary - Design system components and assign tasks to team members - Engage in production support activities as needed
