Requirements
Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computing and Informatics, or another related technical field.
- We need 5 years of experience as a software and/or systems engineer delivering paper-to-product software solutions in a CI/CD environment.
- We look for experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat, or hands-on network device configuration.
- We require 1–2 years of experience as a mid- to senior-level software engineer troubleshooting, debugging, and configuring software products in a lab test setting.
- We need demonstrated ability to plan and complete engineering work within constraints while showing leadership potential to guide peers or junior engineers.
- We require experience preparing engineering documentation, including specifications, test plans, test procedures, and test results, as well as delivering technical briefings and design reviews.
- We look for experience developing technical solutions to complex problems that call for ingenuity and creativity.
- We require willingness to work onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ.
- We require willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
- We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- We prefer experience with software lifecycle development, programming languages such as C and Java, and unit testing.
- We prefer experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.
- We prefer experience with containerization, virtualization, and/or orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
- We prefer understanding of messaging and network protocols such as DDS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, DNS, and Kafka.
- We prefer experience with Open DDS, RTI DDS, DDS Secure, and debugging with tools such as Wireshark.
- We prefer relevant certifications aligned to the role.

We are collaborating with Lockheed Martins Rotary and Mission Systems business to hire a Computing Systems/Software Senior Engineer for our Infrastructure, Communications, and Network Engineering team in Moorestown, New Jersey, supporting multiple Mission Integrated Command & Control programs. This is a full-time, onsite role with a 4x10 schedule and occasional travel to customer sites.
