Swoon is actively hiring a Sr. FullStack Engineer to join the team

What your day-to-day will look like?

Design & build features:

Research, architect, develop, test, and deploy new product capabilities and fixes for LE's learning platforms.

Own delivery quality:

Write automated tests, perform QA, monitor releases, and resolve bugs to ensure resilient, secure, and well-documented software.

Shape the architecture:

Create technical designs/diagrams; define APIs, data flows, and cloud resources; advocate for scalable solutions across teams.

Improve the platform:

Maintain infrastructure (patching, performance tuning), recommend tooling and system changes, and drive code-quality improvements.

Mentor & collaborate:

Support and coach engineers; partner with product and cross-department ASU teams; represent LE in university-wide architecture forums.

Elevate developer experience:

Enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing/validation frameworks, and engineering processes to increase reliability, speed, and productivity.

What's Required / Technical Skills

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional software development (or equivalent combo), including 3+ years on Agile, sprint-based product teams with solid engineering best practices/CI/CD

Core stack proficiency:

TypeScript/JavaScript & with modern web frameworks ); bonus for working knowledge of Python and/or PHP.

Cloud & architecture:

Hands-on AWS experience plus strong software architecture/design skills (APIs, data flows, scalable systems).Problem-solving & execution: Skilled at troubleshooting/diagnosis, driving clarity from ambiguous requests, and applying excellent time management & prioritization to deliver user value.

Collaboration & leadership:

Clear verbal/written/presentation skills;

experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing effectively to cross-functional, sprint-based teams.
