Requirements

Must have:

- 5–8+ years of experience as a full-stack developer creating and deploying production applications. - Proficiency in TypeScript-based environments. - Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks, especially React, React Native, and Next.js. - Capability to work across the entire stack, including frontend applications, APIs, and backend services. - Experience in building consumer-oriented products with high standards for usability, performance, and reliability. - Skilled in implementing automated testing strategies, covering UI, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks such as Maestro, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable tools. - Proven track record of collaborating closely with product managers and designers to effectively translate product ideas into delivered features. - Strong ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability while working efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Construct and uphold high-quality frontend experiences across web and mobile platforms. - Collaborate closely with product and design teams to create user-friendly, scalable interfaces. - Develop full-stack features that encompass frontend components, APIs, and backend services. - Contribute to essential platform capabilities that assist older adults, caregivers, and families in managing care and daily life. - Team up with internal engineers and external developers to design, build, and enhance core platform functionalities. - Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code utilizing current development frameworks and tools. - Help in shaping the architecture and evolution of our platform as it grows. - Work alongside platform and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable feature deployment. - Lead and enhance testing practices throughout the product, including automated UI, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Implement test automation utilizing tools such as Maestro for mobile and end-to-end processes. - Establish best practices for product dependability, regression testing, and release quality. - Team up to uphold high standards for usability, performance, and overall stability. - Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to deliver features per our roadmap. - Collaborate with internal and external engineers to ensure high-quality implementations and outcomes. - Contribute to engineering practices that emphasize speed, product quality, and long-term sustainability. - Integrate privacy, security, and compliance considerations into system design and development. - Contribute to benchmarks surrounding testing, monitoring, and operational reliability. - Identify technical risks and design systems that reduce technical debt while allowing rapid product iterations.
