Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Java + React)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a leading financial services client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java along with modern frontend development experience using React. This is a hands-on development role working on mission-critical enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and React.

Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.

Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on software development experience.

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.

Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
