Requirements
Must have:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance required - Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer - Proven expertise in backend Java development and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks - Proficient in Java and Spring Boot - Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular - Ability to manage end-to-end development efforts in both backend and frontend - Strong oral and written communication skills - Willingness to adhere to established development processes including Sprint planning and code reviews - Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment - Availability to provide on-call operational support - Experience in preparing and presenting comprehensive project documentation - Preferred: Cloud platform experience (e.g., ServiceNow) - Preferred: Specific development experience with ServiceNow - Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field
Responsibilities:
- Engineer, design, code, debug, unit test, and assist with Quality Assurance testing of custom applications using Java - Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions within an Agile, sprint, and Jira framework - Design software or tailor existing solutions to enhance operational efficiency - Transform project specifications and problem statements into detailed logical workflows for coding - Integrate new software with existing systems and collaborate within a team environment - Provide Tier 3/4 support to operations staff and adhere to project timelines - Address and resolve customer software issues while implementing suggestions for improvements and enhancements
