We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic digital team at Dovel Technologies, Inc. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients' modernization efforts by designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security. The Full-Stack Developer will be involved in all phases of software development, from concept and design to implementation and maintenance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resilient, and secure distributed systems. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States, allowing for collaboration across various locations, including San Antonio, Texas, and other remote regions.
- *Qualifications**
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least six (6) years of professional experience in full-stack application development.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing cloud applications, particularly on the AWS platform.
- Proficiency in frontend and backend development using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js (or alternatives like React, Svelte, Angular).
- Experience with modern software architectures including microservices, containerization (Docker, EKS/Kubernetes), and API-First design patterns.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks, with demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects with agility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; candidates with an active clearance are preferred.
- *Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive technical solutions.
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Develop and maintain frontend interfaces and backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement microservices architectures, containerization, and API integrations to support distributed systems.
- Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical approaches and inform decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Support modernization initiatives by migrating legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
- Contribute to technical documentation, user guides, and project reports.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and quality.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
