Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Java, Spring Boot & Angular

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and support software products that make analytics capabilities accessible to business users. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience across front-end and back-end development, and exposure to integrating AI capabilities into software applications.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. The role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and software tools.
• Build and integrate front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to develop user-friendly software solutions.
• Contribute to the integration and evaluation of AI-enabled features, focusing on reliability, data protection, and responsible usage.
• Deliver development tasks through prioritized backlogs using Agile methodologies.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including pair programming, code reviews, automated testing, test-driven development, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
• Participate in technical design and software architecture discussions.
• Mentor team members and support the adoption of effective engineering and Agile practices.
• Communicate project progress, technical decisions, risks, and business value to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Take ownership of technical challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions through collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on Java and Spring Boot development.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using Angular.
• Strong full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience developing and testing production-grade software applications.
• Hands-on experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and using Rally.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins and Gradle.
• Familiarity with deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
• Experience working with AI-enabled applications or integrating AI capabilities into software products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and navigate ambiguous situations.
• Commitment to clean coding practices, continuous learning, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python and integrating analytics models or services into applications.
• Experience with Generative AI or Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.
• Knowledge of evaluating AI outputs and addressing reliability and security concerns.
• Experience developing software products for supply chain, logistics, operations, or analytics domains.
• Experience mentoring developers or coaching teams on Agile and modern software engineering practices.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
