About the role

As a senior Software Engineering with us, you'll coach a team of business analysts and software engineers. You'll develop their capabilities and ensure they deliver agile solutions that meet our ever-changing and challenging business needs. You'll aim to continuously improve business delivery processes and support the performance and development of member of your team - supporting them with a diplomatic attitude and cultural sensitivity.

In this role, you'll explore, think and do. That means exploring new opportunities for you or your team members to progress. It means leading technical thinking across a wide range of technologies. It means using your strong coding abilities to develop responsive web applications and mobile apps that go beyond just the one language.

It means using your understanding of micro services and cloud environments to implement continuous integration, unit testing, test automation and behavior driven development. And it means building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders - responding to their needs.

About You

Taking on a senior technical role means having a broad knowledge of your area. For you, that means understanding modern development methodologies, dev ops practices and techniques, as well as design and automation environments. You are a hands-on coder, and know how to design high quality, maintainable code for the long term, and empower your teammates to do so along with you.

Alongside a degree in a related subject, you'll need to have strong skills in coaching, software development, system design, data analysis and communication. But beyond this, you're all about your team - on a deeper level. You always look to empower them, evolve them, professionally and personally, and you inspire them with your open and supportive nature.

What we need to see:

10+ years' industry experience in software design and development with engineering best practices
Experience developing production software using C# .Net core and powershell or python is a plus
REST Microservices Development and Design – including securing APIs, Unit Testing, and Deploying code via Azure Devops/
Experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Scrum methodology
B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or similar
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
Excellent communication skills

Required Skills : 10+ years experience in Software Development for large scale applications: C#, REST API Development (Microservices) .Net Core CI/CD and Unit Testing (Azure Devops preferred) Azure Cloud or AWS experience (will be working in Azure) SOLID Principals, Multi-Threading, Dependency Injection Excellent communication skills - will be working with a team members in US and London
