Senior Java Backend Engineer

Note: This is W2 based openings only.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Spring Boot, gRPC and Protocol Buffers, and professional experience designing or building REST APIs. A key requirement is experience exposing REST endpoints that connect to backend gRPC services using transcoding, gRPC-Gateway, or custom mapping layers.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on Java development experience in production environments
• Strong Spring Boot experience
• Hands-on experience building gRPC services using protobuf
• Experience designing/building REST APIs
• Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger
• REST-to-gRPC integration experience
• Experience with OAuth2 / JWT authentication
• Strong data/domain modeling experience, including protobuf messages, JSON Schema, or entity modeling
• Exposure to Cube (cube.dev), dbt, or semantic/analytics layers is a plus
• Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code experience is a nice to have
