The business unit's development team is responsible for helping the organizations businesses achieve their long-term technology strategy by building Proof-of-Concepts, Pilots, and Full-Scale Rollouts using new innovative technologies.
We do this by hiring the best technical people, thoroughly understanding the latest and emerging technologies, and partnering with the client's businesses to apply these technologies to solve their problems.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop new prototypes, pilots, and production applications using the latest web technologies.
Design and develop complex enterprise applications.
Rapidly develop enterprise software based on requirement documents, prototypes, or verbal requirements.
Work across peer groups to resolve and understand complex technical/design issues.
Learn and adopt new concepts & technologies quickly and implement them effectively in projects.
Provide technical assistance to other colleagues in the team.
Foster innovation through research and conducts studies of alternatives, analyze and recommend changes in project developmental policies, procedures, standards, and development strategies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years software development experience building web applications
2+ years web client development
Experience with web-based technologies like HTML, JavaScript & CSS, JSON
Worked with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.
Java, PHP or .NET development experience
Strong Object Oriented familiarity/experience
Strong UI design and development experience
Familiarity/experience with software design patterns such as MVC
Relational database & server side development experience a plus
Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies
