Requirements

Must have:

- We require a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain management, or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• We require hands-on experience with cloud environments and CI/CD tools or architecture.
• We require strong knowledge of J2EE concepts, including RESTful web services and MVC patterns.
• We require experience working with SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures, ideally using Oracle SQL Developer.
• We require familiarity with integration technologies such as EDI, JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• We require experience with code management and branching workflows using git.
• We require the ability to communicate effectively with product teams and collaborate across functions.
• We require the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• We require systems-level thinking, architectural judgment, and the ability to anticipate enterprise-wide impacts.
• We require a strong focus on security, performance, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
• We require the willingness to support junior developers through mentoring, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• We require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and acceptable background check results.

Responsibilities:

- We design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain new software features while improving our existing Java-based codebase.

• We build applications and components using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Ext JS, JUnit, SWT, AWT, and Eclipse.
• We create and sustain data models and corresponding Java model classes in alignment with our ORM conventions.
• We develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with external systems such as ERP platforms, carrier APIs, and EDI partners.
• We implement integration patterns that support chunking, natural key resolution, and robust error handling.
• We build and support IXM engine tasks for computationally intensive parallel processing in a stateless environment.
• We configure approval routes and approval plans for complex multi-stop, multi-role workflows across enterprise boundaries.
• We create User-Defined Page components in ExtJS or React that consume our platform API endpoints.
• We handle HTTP and application-level errors appropriately, including field-level messages, record-level issues, and user warnings.
• We apply J2EE design patterns and use SDKs to implement RESTful services and MVC-based solutions.
• We write advanced SQL and stored procedures to support application behavior and data processing.
• We troubleshoot and resolve system issues raised through JIRA and keep requirement documentation up to date.
• We merge code across branches, manage revisions in git, and help maintain a healthy development workflow.
• We lead code reviews with attention to architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• We coach teammates by identifying blockers, clarifying concepts, and helping others strengthen their technical skills.
