Requirements
Must have:
- We are looking for 5+ years of professional core Java development experience.
- We need a strong grasp of object-oriented design and development principles.
- We require working knowledge of Java garbage collection and concurrent, low-latency I/O.
- Experience building Linux-based, multi-threaded, large-scale, fault-tolerant systems is essential.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as TIBCO RV/EMS, JMS, AMPS, or Apache Kafka is required.
- You should be able to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage support inquiries effectively.
- Experience with Agile practices and release coordination is preferred.
- A background in global trading systems or event-driven architectures is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- We will design and deliver new functionality for a distributed, multi-threaded event processing platform using core Java.
- We will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements discussions, development, testing, release, and production support.
- We will investigate system behavior and resolve issues in collaboration with first-line support and global stakeholders.
- We will identify and implement fixes and performance enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and fault tolerance.
