Senior Java Developer (Backend + UI Exposure)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (6–24 months, potential to convert)

Rate: Up to $65/hr on W2

Eligibility: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4 EAD

Job Overview:

Seeking a Senior Java Developer to support a backfill role, focusing on backend development with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring framework, and SQL. The role requires hands-on development experience with some exposure to front-end technologies like Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Contribute to API development and system integrations
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices

Required Skills:

• 8–10+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring/Spring Boot
• Proficient in SQL and database interaction
• Basic experience with Angular (or similar front-end framework)

Nice to Have:

• Financial services domain experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
