Senior Java Developer

We are working with a leading technology solutions provider that develops and maintains robust web applications, backend services, and cloud-based solutions for its diverse client base. The Role

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Java SDK 21 and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance applications, including developing and maintaining REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Support smaller web applications with front-end technologies like Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with AWS-based infrastructure and services such as ECS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Contribute to source control and development workflows using GitLab, including building and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members on architecture, implementation decisions, code reviews, and deployment practices.

What You'll Need

• Strong professional experience developing applications with Java, specifically Java 21 or recent SDK versions.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring Framework.
• Proven ability to design, build, and consume REST APIs, with strong working knowledge of JSON and API integration patterns.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git-based source control (preferably GitLab) and working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD).
• Practical experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications in AWS.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
