Role Overview

As a

Java Developer Contractor

, you will support the development and maintenance of high-performance Java-based applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in building scalable services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with high performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with clear contracts and versioning strategies
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for production issues
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
• Provide technical leadership including architecture guidance and mentoring
• Stay up to date with the latest Java technologies and recommend improvements

Required Skills & Experience

Primary Skill:

Java (Advanced – 6 to 9 years)

Strong experience in

Java service development (design, build, troubleshoot production systems)

Deep expertise in:

• Spring Boot / Spring Framework

Spring Security

(authentication, authorization, secure design principles)

Strong experience in

RESTful API design & development
