About the Role

ClarksTech LLC is seeking highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developers for a contract position with their client based in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

This role requires hands-on expertise with strong backend skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with AWS (Ec2, Lambda, IAM, S3) frontend development experience using React or Angular and TypeScript.

The ideal candidates will also have solid experience with MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases. We are looking to hire 1 Fullstack lead and 4 senior developers to join our client team. Candidates should have FinTech or banking domain (Payments, Merchant Clearing) experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a hybrid work model and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture in AWS platform

Build and enhance responsive web applications using React and TypeScript

Design and optimize queries for MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of developed solutions

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team mentorship

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner across the full stack

Required Skills & Experience

8 12 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java backend technologies and AWS cloud platform

Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices

Work with AWS cloud services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM

Proficiency in frontend technologies:

, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

Strong experience with one or more databases: MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver high-quality code

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
