Senior Java Developer - West Virginia

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience - 8-12 years of relevant professional experience, or a Masters degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience - Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - U.S. Citizenship is mandatory - DOD Secret Clearance is necessary

Responsibilities:

- Develop, create, and modify general computer applications or specialized utility software - Assess user requirements and design software solutions accordingly - Customize software for clients to enhance operational efficiency - Analyze and design databases, whether independently or as part of a team - Research, create, and test software for operating systems, compilers, and network distribution across various sectors - Establish operational specifications and examine software requirements - Design embedded systems software - Apply principles and techniques from computer science, engineering, and mathematics - Utilize comprehensive knowledge in key tasks and significant projects - Plan and oversee major technology initiatives - Evaluate performance outcomes and suggest substantial changes for project success - Act as a technical expert across multiple project assignments - Supervise other team members as necessary
