Senior Java Full Stack Developer (React Native/AWS)

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer (React Native/AWS) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support business objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver cloud-based applications using modern technologies, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
• Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React Native and JavaScript to support multi-platform experiences
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL and MySQL database structures to ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance
• Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy, secure, and manage applications in a reliable and scalable environment
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure smooth application functionality and a seamless user experience
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to support iterative development and timely project delivery
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and team development
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in development methodologies, tooling, and processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into engineering practices

Skills
