Trigyn's direct government client in Austin, Texas has a requirement for Senior Java / J2EE Developer. The particulars of the opportunity are below:

Description

This role is Senior Java Developer. This role will be responsible for making updates to Java. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model.

Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required.

Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
• Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
• Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
• Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
• Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
• Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development
• Experience with Angular UI Framework
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Experience with Power BI.
