About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to enhance and modernize critical enterprise applications.
This is a hands-on role focused on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and supporting the evolution of legacy applications toward modern architectures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business domains and legacy monolithic applications to deliver efficient solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8+ and modern development practices.
- Build and enhance Spring Boot and Microservices-based applications.
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and performant RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to implement user stories and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and identify performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
- Support application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and backend service development.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand complex business domains and application architectures.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
