Requirements
Must have:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development - Experience working with Mainframe SAS or comparable legacy platforms - Practical proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation - Experience supporting or integrating Java-based applications and user interfaces - Familiarity with JIRA or similar task-tracking and workflow tools - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting - Strong verbal and written communication skills and sound problem-solving ability - Demonstrated record of delivering accurate, high-quality work on schedule - Exposure to COBOL or mainframe concepts is a plus - Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Convert and transition legacy Mainframe SAS processes into Oracle SQL/PLSQL - Review existing SAS workflows and redesign the logic for Oracle execution - Deliver Oracle-based solutions that are accurate, performant, and dependable - Build and improve a Java-based user interface to support maintenance and integration requirements - Create Python tools to support automation, data handling, and migration activities - Manage work in JIRA within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks - Partner with our technology manager on reporting, planning, and delivery coordination with limited client contact - Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative, delivery-driven environment
