Senior Principal Software Engineer - Java/C++

Requirements

Must have:

- A Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an Advanced Degree with relevant experience - At least 10 years of experience in software development and integration using programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic - Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools - Proficiency with the Windows Operating System, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server - Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation and software, e.g., NI VISA and NI Measurement Automation Explorer - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities:

- Lead multidisciplined teams in the creation of test equipment - Manage multiple tasks effectively in a production setting - Assist in planning cost and scheduling management - Communicate project status updates to senior management - Diagnose and resolve issues with software and test equipment - Develop software product requirements - Exhibit strong written and interpersonal communication skills with Program Management
