Senior Python Developer

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Python Developer with 6-8+ years of software development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python programming, SQL, AWS cloud services, and API development/integration. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.
• Build, integrate, and support RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Leverage AWS services to design and deploy cloud-native solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Implement security, scalability, and reliability standards across applications.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in REST APIs, API integration, and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
