Senior Python Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- Relevant experience in Application Development or Systems Analysis roles - Strong experience with REST APIs, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), SOAP, and microservices architecture - Hands-on expertise in Core Python concepts, modules, error handling, multiprocessing, and multithreading - Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django for API development - Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger and OpenAI - Knowledge of JSON and XML processing in Python - Ability to write clean, production-ready code regularly - Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) - Experience working in Windows and Linux environments, with the ability to write shell and batch scripts - Proficient in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes - Understanding of Python OOP principles, design patterns, file IO, collections, concurrency, and database connectivity (e.g., SQLAlchemy, psycopg2) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps - Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise in Python-based application development - Ability to rapidly adjust priorities based on project needs - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Capable of performing under pressure while meeting deadlines and adjusting to evolving requirements

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Python-based applications and systems - Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications - Write and execute clean, efficient, and production-ready code on a regular basis - Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues and system errors - Document API specifications and frameworks meticulously - Work with SQL databases and perform database management tasks - Utilize containerization technologies and orchestrate deployment processes - Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes to enhance application delivery - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members - Maintain an agile mindset and adapt to changing priorities and project needs - Foster effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
