Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture &
  • Development: Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure full-stack applications. Develop clean, well-tested Python APIs and services (using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask) paired with modern front-end interfaces (React, TypeScript).

• Infrastructure &
  • Containerization: Architect and manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes (K8s). Author and maintain Helm charts, configure ingress controllers, and optimize resource allocations.

• Linux Systems Engineering: Troubleshoot complex system-level performance bottlenecks, manage OS-level networking, memory issues, and automate administrative tasks using shell scripting and system tools.
• CI/CD &
  • Automation: Drive the transition towards robust DevOps practices by designing and optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Database Management: Design schema structures, optimize queries, and manage transactional and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Technical Leadership: Act as a mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, drive engineering best practices (TDD, CI/CD, peer reviews), and lead architectural discussions and system designs.

Technical Requirements:

Programming &

• Backend (Python Deep-Dive):

• Expert-level Python: 5+ years of production experience writing clean, idiomatic Python. Deep understanding of async programming (asyncio), concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• API Design: Deep expertise in RESTful API design, GraphQL, or gRPC protocol buffers.

Frontend &

• Full-Stack Capabilities:

• Modern JS/TS Frameworks: Strong development experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular (React preferred) and TypeScript.
• State Management &
  • Styling: Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Recoil, Zustand) and responsive styling (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components).

• Web Fundamentals: Strong grasp of security protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), CORS, WebSockets, and browser performance optimization.

Linux &

• Platform Engineering:

• Linux Expertise: Advanced understanding of Linux internals, processes, systemd, filesystems, kernel tuning, network troubleshooting, and shell scripting (Bash).
• Containers &
  • Orchestration: Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Ability to debug container lifecycles, write native Kubernetes manifests, manage ConfigMaps/Secrets, and configure persistent volumes.

• Service Mesh &
  • Networking: Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and network policies within Kubernetes clusters is a big plus.
