Senior Software Developer - Java, Python

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution - A completed Masters degree may substitute for up to two years of professional experience - Over 4 years of practical experience delivering production software across various projects - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or similar tools - Advanced knowledge of enterprise software engineering principles, including secure coding, peer reviews, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and system reliability - Strong background in object-oriented development with proven experience in .NET, C#, and modern front-end frameworks - Experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, React, or TypeScript is advantageous - Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL development - Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement integration solutions that connect various systems and platforms - Participate in initial project discovery, technical planning, and solution assessment - Offer technical mentorship and conduct design and code reviews for developers of all levels - Develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions within a Microsoft technology stack, utilizing C#, microservices, and contemporary front-end frameworks like Angular - Create efficient database queries and perform data analysis using SQL and T-SQL - Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to transform functional requirements into scalable technical solutions - Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design artifacts and implementation guidelines - Continuously enhance development processes by integrating tools and practices that boost speed, quality, and reliability - Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and data teams to deliver complete solutions from development to release, applying agile methodologies
