Must have:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study - Four (4) years of experience in the role, including positions such as Backend Programmer or Frontend Programmer - Alternatively, a Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field with Two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of the Bachelors Degree and Four (4) years of experience - 2 years of experience in Back-end web development - Proficiency in developing SQL database software - Experience with Ruby on Rails - Knowledge of VueJS - Familiarity with MSSQL and PostgreSQL - Proficient in using Git - Experience with Sidekiq and Docker - Knowledge of RSpec
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of internal-facing web applications and data access points - Support the strategic goals of the US Oncology Network with a diverse range of services - Understand core operations within the data and analytics team, while ensuring best practices for securing PHI and sensitive data on public cloud infrastructure - Engineer and implement applications to manage team data, models, and operations by analyzing functional or technical requirements - Integrate with various data assets and the analytics platform to ensure content availability under strict PHI guidelines - Collaborate with security frameworks, content management databases, and other internal systems - Serve as a technical leader driving innovation in data and analytics to support business goals - Establish strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders to align on business needs and prioritize work streams - Manage deployment schedules and communication for the web-based application and analytics platform - Proactively learn and apply new technologies and procedures relevant to project requirements - Stay informed about trends in industry technology
