We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in Python, Django, and FastAPI to build scalable, cloud-native backend systems. This is a player-coach role, combining hands-on development with 1–2 years of formal people management.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Django, FastAPI, REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Django ORM, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless technologies (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions).
- Experience with AWS/Azure deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines, and at least one vector database.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS is desirable.
- Strong skills in database optimisation, architecture reviews, technical planning, code reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder communication.
