Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Fullstack to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Retail & Consumer Goods workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually.

• *Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable backend services and front-end components for AI-assisted shopping experiences
• Build and maintain fast, accessible front-end features using React and Next.js
• Contribute to and modernize the PHP/Magento codebase
• Transform legacy systems into maintainable service-oriented architectures
• Practice test-driven development and apply strong software principles
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Instrument services with metrics and own SLAs for your deliverables
• Engage in code reviews and foster architectural discussions to elevate team standards
• *Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development across web and backend stacks
• Strong proficiency in backend systems using Python, Java, PHP, or similar languages
• Proficient in React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js with a solid grasp of various rendering techniques
• Experience in building and maintaining REST and RPC APIs and services at scale
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and their appropriate use cases
• Working knowledge of AWS services and serverless architecture patterns
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools for managing SLAs and error rates
