Must have:
- Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science from a prestigious institution - Strong programming skills in C++ and Python - Solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, along with object-oriented design - Proficient in the Linux operating system - Experience in multi-threaded programming, utilizing lock-free synchronization and relaxed memory consistency - Familiar with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and Multicast - Capability to develop and manage complex applications following software engineering best practices - Knowledge of code analysis and profiling tools, such as Valgrind and Intel VTune - Self-driven, proactive, and effective in communicating complex concepts - Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Play a crucial role in creating and enhancing our next-generation low-latency trading platform - Assist in designing and establishing a premier research pipeline for discovering and optimizing automated trading strategies - Develop and uphold low-latency exchange connectivity services, encompassing market data feeds and order entry gateways - Create systems that capture and facilitate access to substantial volumes of historical market data - Build tools to oversee, analyze, and further automate existing trading operations - Develop systems focused on risk management and post-trade analytics - Architect optimized domain-specific data structures and algorithms - Examine system latencies on a nanosecond scale and pinpoint optimization opportunities - Enhance and streamline automation within the software development life cycle - Offer production system support, including troubleshooting and comprehensive root cause analysis
