Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with a strong focus on Java MicroServices Development to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust API solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of microservices architecture and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient API solutions using Java MicroServices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Monitor and optimize API performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
• Document development processes, code changes, and API specifications for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers as needed.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java MicroServices Development.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Proficiency in using frameworks such as Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with API management tools and practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of security best practices in API development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful software development projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
