Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - A minimum of 4 years of software and application development experience, including over 2 years in classified and air-gapped environments - IAT/IAM Level II or III certification required (e.g., CISSP, CAP, Security , CISM) - Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new software features and system enhancements from initial concept to deployment - Design, build, and refine enterprise-level automation solutions utilizing low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platforms, Appian, Mendix, etc.) - Integrate automation across applications and systems through APIs, event-driven workflows, and orchestration tools - Collaborate with architects to establish standards for governance, reusability, and scalability of automation solutions - Define and execute architectural decisions for backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure to ensure performance and scalability - Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications - Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers through code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions - Ensure compliance with best practices in classified/unclassified systems engineering, focusing on testing, code quality, and maintainability - Contribute to Agile development processes by participating in sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery - Identify potential technical risks and formulate strategies for mitigation to ensure project success - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to sustain a modern and efficient engineering workflow - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for ongoing software maintenance - Perform other duties as assigned
