Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a masters degree with 2+ years of experience, OR a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, OR 8+ years of directly applicable experience.
- Over 4 years of experience in designing and developing web applications.
- Minimum of 4 years in building and deploying applications within a cloud environment (preferably AWS; Azure or GCP acceptable).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or React.js for at least 4 years.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems for 4+ years.
- Demonstrated contribution to open-source projects or communities.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and launch resilient, scalable software solutions that fulfill user story requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to guarantee software quality and dependability.
- Assist with functional testing for applications, modules, or new features.
- Identify and resolve software defects and production challenges.
- Decompose epics and stories into technical tasks and provide accurate timelines.
- Acquire proficiency in the applications, systems, and services that you support.
- Engage actively in Agile ceremonies and cooperate within a cross-functional team.
- Document your work effectively and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure (cost, performance, security) on AWS.
- Enhance infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for improved performance, security, and deployment efficiency.
- Remain informed about new tools, technologies, and trends relevant to your technical field.
- Explore and integrate AI capabilities to boost code quality, deployment processes, and foster innovation within our engineering practice.
- Guide and support junior and mid-level engineers through technical mentorship and peer programming.
