Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related discipline - Over 8 years of practical software development experience, with a solid foundation in full-stack engineering - Familiarity with agile development methodologies, with a proven ability to deliver enhancements that provide customer value - A strong enthusiasm for mentoring and leadership, encouraging growth within engineering teams - Proficiency in contemporary web frameworks such as Lit, Vue, React, Angular, along with experience in API development using REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets - Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, GitLab, and Kubernetes - Strong database management skills in both SQL and NoSQL, concentrated on performance and scalability optimization - Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions for cloud-based warehouse optimization systems utilizing big data and AI - Produce clean, maintainable, and high-quality code in accordance with industry best practices - Oversee full-stack development, engaging in both front-end and back-end systems using frameworks like Lit, Vue, React, Angular, and services including REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets - Enhance database performance through collaboration with SQL and NoSQL databases and implement big data technologies for real-time analytics - Propel automation and follow DevOps best practices by utilizing Terraform, GitLab, and cloud infrastructure to improve deployment efficacy - Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineering teams to create seamless and impactful user experiences - Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation
