1. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer (Python/Node) designs, develops, and delivers back-end software systems critical to the organization’s products and workflows. This role serves as a technical expert in Python and Node.js, leading complex feature development, shaping architecture, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The position also leverages AI and LLM technologies to accelerate development and improve system functions, while mentoring engineers and driving engineering improvements across the team.

1. Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver production-grade back-end features in Python and Node.js

• Ensure end-to-end release quality through ticket tracking, deployment validation, and rollback strategies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis and scalable fixes
• Contribute to system architecture by evaluating design trade-offs and improving scalability
• Apply AI and LLM tools to support development and workflows, ensuring output validation and security
• Mentor engineers with code reviews, technical guidance, and debugging support
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Operations, and Engineering leadership to clarify requirements and prioritize work
• Enhance engineering efficiency by adopting new tools and improving processes

1. Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production back-end systems

• Proficiency in Python and Node.js with ability to deliver production-ready code independently
• Experience with distributed systems design, debugging, and performance improvement
• Hands-on experience with Celery, PostgreSQL, and Docker
• Experience using AI/LLM tools in development, including prompt engineering and output validation
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and security
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills
• Ability to work independently, meet sprint commitments, and adapt to evolving technical environments
• Comfortable collaborating across global time zones with occasional flexibility outside standard hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

• Experience with Go programming language
• Experience with AWS networking and infrastructure
• Familiarity with OpenSearch and Signoz
• Experience with AI-driven systems such as agents or workflow automation in production

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range from $110,228 to $170,241 per year, based on experience and qualifications
