Design, implement, and test enhancements, fix defects, and improve GSS | HWT | KWT technical products.
Perform or review systems analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and documentation for assigned projects.
Analyze business requirements, design solutions, write application code, and provide technical oversight.
Develop innovative and effective backend database solutions to meet project objectives.
Customize existing features to fit customer needs and work closely with members of the engineering team and solution architects to integrate customizations.
Participate in defining and implementing technical direction.
Participate on project teams for assigned system projects; analyze improvements, new applications and develops requirements and specifications with team.
Work with Product Management to define new features for GSS | HWT | KWT technical products. Lead the roll-out of these features into production.
Assist in deploying solution into production.
Develop and conduct unit test plans.
Optimize backend for maximum performance for large queries.
Document the design, approach, and implementation solution for developed code.
Leverage a broad technology stack to ensure performance is at its best from end to end.
Maintain a database-backed API backend.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and application performance.

BS or BA in Information Systems or related field preferred.
4+ year related experience in technical support or IT operations.
Experienced software development with background of building large scale systems using , NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Redis) and Linux.
Knowledge of Amazon Web Service preferred.
Good understanding of server-side template G.
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors.
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
Understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and request handling.
-Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
Proficient understanding of code versioning with Git.
Strong problem solving capabilities with focus on customer service.
Ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
