Software Developer (Java)

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent certification in a related field or relevant experience - Bachelor of Science (BS) in a STEM discipline - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team - Familiarity with Linux operating systems - Experience in computer programming

Responsibilities:

- Conduct customer simulation sessions, including setup and execution - Showcase simulations and facilities to visitors and clients - Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues - Communicate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders - Operate within a fast-paced simulations engineering environment alongside a team of engineers - Maintain a strong focus on customer service with effective communication skills - Research and explore innovative simulation and graphic technologies - Collaborate with clients to gather and manage software and simulation requirements - Design, develop, and sustain software applications - Create software for various hardware interfaces (such as Ethernet, serial ports, etc.) - Integrate and test simulations with visual components and mock-ups - Perform software testing and validation - Address simulation-related issues as they arise - Generate and update operational documentation - Undertake other responsibilities as required
