Requirements
Must have:
- We require an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph for consideration, and the role is onsite in Reston, Virginia.
- We are seeking candidates with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline; a masters degree may substitute for some experience at each level.
- For mid-level roles, we expect 4+ years of professional experience, or 2+ years with a masters degree.
- For senior roles, we expect 8+ years of experience, or 6+ years with a masters degree.
- For principal or technical lead roles, we expect 12+ years of experience, or 10+ years with a masters degree.
- We look for 2+ years of experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense environments at the mid level, and 3+ years for senior and principal levels.
- We need hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- We value full-stack development experience, including modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and backend services or APIs.
- We prefer familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, ETL pipelines, and Docker or other containerized environments.
- We appreciate exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS, along with DevOps practices.
- We consider experience integrating AI/ML, large language models, or RAG-based capabilities a strong advantage.
- For senior and principal levels, we expect deeper expertise in software architecture, system design, scalable applications, and leading technical efforts.
- For principal roles, we want proven strength in technical strategy, prototyping innovative solutions, and stakeholder communication.
- We are looking for strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- We prefer experience working in Linux or Unix environments and collaborating in fast-paced mission-driven settings.
