Requirements
Must have:
- We require at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- We are looking for strong, exceptional web application development skills; cloud experience is preferred.
- We require Oracle and Java certification.
- We require Security+ certification.
- We require Microsoft Office 2019 proficiency or certification in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- We need someone who can start immediately or within one month.
- We require efficient Microsoft Office capability or certification.
- We require the role to be performed onsite, with occasional on-site presence for client visits, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
- We will maintain, modify, and upgrade the LEADeR database to support tracking and awareness of education and training events.
- We will code and update software, build test scripts, and apply testing methods such as regression testing and end-user validation based on client input.
- We will manage data to preserve redundancy, timeliness, and integrity of participant records.
- We will facilitate data uploads from Air Force personnel data systems such as MilPDS, eMentor, and DMDC.
- We will implement and sustain network security controls to protect participant privacy and keep records secure in line with Air Force guidance.
- We will stay current on Air Force communications, cybersecurity, and related policies to ensure ongoing database compliance.
- We will provide specialized reporting and self-service reporting options for the client and training partners.
- We will create and update user accounts, data profiles, metrics reports, and data queries for staff and participants.
- We will recommend enhancements to LEADeR and manage client change requests to support process improvement and use of modern technologies.
- We will provide input to, participate in, and carry out decisions from monthly Configuration Control Boards.

We are VTI and we are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to support work at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a full-time contract role with an in-person work location, standard daytime weekday hours, and telework available except when on-site client visits are needed.
