Software Engineer (C++)

QuEST is hiring software engineers to work on an embedded real-time software development team.Candidates should have a background in software development including the use of a structured or formal software development process with experience in defect reporting, tracking, and resolution.

Strong exposure to the generation of use cases/test cases and the preparation of defect reports is a plus.

Candidates must possess C++ experience. Additionally, they should have a background in Embedded C, Linux, QNX, UML, SysML, Alpine, and/or Shell Programming. Familiarity with agile programming methodologies, unit testing, and HITL/virtual test environments will be considered assets.

Limited travel may be required.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in related field
• Working knowledge of software programming and testing using C++
• Able to work within a structured or formal software development process
• Experience with software version control and defect tracking tools
• Experience in/knowledge of the Agile Software Lifecycle
• Good debugging skills
• Understands the importance of traceability and documentation (Requirements>Design>Test Documentation)
