Requirements
Must have:
- We bring 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- We have 3 years of experience building, managing, and scaling large back-end systems.
- We have 2 years of experience developing scalable backend services with Node.js; TypeScript knowledge is a plus.
- We understand message queues or event-driven architectures, with Kafka preferred.
- We have strong experience with event-driven architecture.
- We possess expert-level SQL skills, including query tuning, stored procedure development, and performance optimization in large transactional environments.
- We bring foundational AI fluency, including hands-on use of generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset for adopting new technologies to improve productivity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- We design, build, and support RESTful and event-driven APIs that connect internal and external systems, mobile apps, and warehouse devices.
- We partner with front-end and mobile teams to deliver complete features that improve warehouse operations.
- We follow the software development lifecycle and established engineering best practices.
- We create, refine, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures in a large distributed environment.
- We develop and maintain APIs that integrate upstream and downstream systems.
- We work closely with platform architects and engineers to ensure strong database and system performance.
- We produce clear documentation for stored procedures, database logic, and APIs.
- We support scalable debugging, triage, monitoring, and defect resolution.
- We help build trust and accountability across the team and contribute positively to day-to-day work.
