Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
You'll design, build, and maintain a full-stack web application used to manage access to HPC resources in a large, multi-tenant Kubernetes environment.
Your work will include developing REST APIs, building intuitive user interfaces, and automating system tasks that keep the platform reliable and secure.
You'll collaborate with system engineers and users to translate requirements into working solutions, troubleshoot issues in production environments, and continuously improve performance, scalability, and usability.
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
One of the following is required:
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 3 years of Software Engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 5 years of Software Engineering experience
7 years of Software Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Experience must include development in Unix or Linux environments.
Strong experience working in Linux environments using CLI and system tools
Bash scripting to automate manual or repetitive processes
Full-stack web development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React
Recent software development experience using Python
Designing and developing REST APIs using FastAPI
SQL database experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
Containerization experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
Kubernetes experience, including deploying and managing services
Experience creating and managing Helm charts
Git source control and collaborative development workflows
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with OpenID or OAuth authentication protocols
Experience working with AWS cloud services
This role works across Linux-based systems and containerized platforms using Python, Bash, JavaScript, React, FastAPI, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, Docker and Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, and supporting cloud services and authentication frameworks where appropriate.
$155, $205,000.00
The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
