Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and maintain server control firmware for machine learning accelerator servers.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on accelerator management firmware and programmable logic devices.
• Support the development of mission-mode firmware, manufacturing exercisers, and qualification automation.
• Participate in new product development, including design reviews, schematic approvals, and board bring-up.
• Work with embedded systems, operating systems (Linux), and control systems.
• Develop device drivers, control systems utilizing sensor data, and automation software using C, C++, Lua, Bash, and Python.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, Linux architecture, and control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
