We ensure developers have all the tools necessary to painlessly develop XR applications independent of the device the app runs on (glasses, headsets, phones). This work includes building (or extending) libraries/frameworks/engines/tools to improve the developer experience as well as enabling low-to-no-cost porting/compatibility of existing apps into the XR platform.
Specifically, the XR AI Developer Solutions team enables the Android XR developer ecosystem to build rich, spatially-aware, and Gemini-connected XR application experiences using technologies like MCP, A2UI, and Android AppFunctions.
