Software Engineer - Java and Python

Requirements

Must have:

- High school diploma or GED is mandatory - Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is preferred - At least three (3) years of experience in developing enterprise web applications using ASP.Net/C# and responsive design - Proficiency in Azure stack web development, distributed architectures, microservices, and React-based micro frontends - Solid experience in Azure application security, hosting patterns, and containerization - Familiarity with distributed development design, messaging patterns, the .NET modern ecosystem, and comprehensive enterprise development skills

Responsibilities:

- Develop Azure-based, cloud-native web applications using ASP.NET Core and React, while implementing microservices, serverless patterns, and containerization, and utilizing essential Azure services like Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure SQL - Design and implement APIs within an Event-Driven Microservices Architecture to ensure scalable communication between services; contribute to application documentation through sequence and workflow diagrams, as well as detailed API documentation for clarity and maintainability - Identify and address technical debt by enhancing code and infrastructure, optimizing existing systems for improved performance, and applying best practices for maintaining and scaling software solutions - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding and security standards among peers - Engage in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to keep the team aligned and focused on common objectives
