Must have:

- Foundational skills in analytical reasoning, requirements gathering, technical troubleshooting, software installation, and system integration.
- Basic familiarity with one or more modern programming languages, cloud platforms, or development frameworks.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies, adhere to established design patterns, and contribute to maintainable code.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge of software engineering concepts and tools relevant to the Central Dispatch logistics platform, including responsible use of AI-assisted tools in daily development activities.
- Engage in coding tasks, including writing unit and system tests, participating in pair programming, and utilizing AI agents for code generation, documentation, and troubleshooting, ensuring all outputs are vetted for accuracy and security.
- Assist in translating business and functional requirements into precise technical tasks and contribute to planning via manual analysis and AI-assisted estimation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation of manual processes, utilizing AI-enabled tools to enhance repetitive engineering tasks.
- Respond to bug reports using traditional debugging methods and AI-assisted analysis to determine root causes and propose solutions.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives by updating legacy code, planning migrations, and applying AI tools to comprehend older patterns and recommend alternatives.
- Learn and implement secure coding practices while participating in AI-assisted code analysis to identify vulnerabilities, quality concerns, or performance issues.
- Help pinpoint software, server, or network bottlenecks through diagnostics, testing scenarios, and AI tools to evaluate potential remediation strategies.
- Participate in performance testing and assist in resolving issues identified through analytic and AI-supported reviews.
- Document processes, patterns, and best practices while using AI tools to create clear and consistent documentation.
- Share insights, proposed improvements, and lessons learned from AI-assisted workflows to refine team practices.
- Regularly communicate status updates, challenges, risks, and dependencies to teammates, managers, product owners, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects or platform enhancement initiatives as assigned.

Compensation for this role ranges from $74,000 to $111,000, depending on factors such as location and individual qualifications.
